New Post

Yesterday I made a post on how to tell engaging stories using my Symbiotic Storytelling method.

It got me a lot of nice comments.

But I didn’t just come up with this idea out of the blue.

It was an experiment.

I used the T for Trends from my TRIPBOSS hook writing framework.

Deadpool & Wolverine came out recently.

The most sensible thing to do was to ride this trend, so at the start of July I made 7 posts about Marvel characters and tied them to 7 Pillars of Personal Branding.

I saved the best for last.

Venom.

Why am I telling you all this?

So that you can do the same.

I looked for an image on Google and came across the one I used in the post.

It was a conversation ripped straight out of a comic panel.

A disagreement to be specific.

This one stood out to me not just because of the emotional rollercoaster of the convo but all because of 1 word…

Scared.

Fear is an emotion that we’ve all felt. It’s relatable. It’s uncomfortable.

That’s why I chose that image. It resonates with all of us.

People buy not just with money but also with their attention.

You’re doing it right now.

I wrote half the post and let it sit for 4 weeks just to see if that image was the right one to choose.

In the meantime I read other comic panels.

There were some great ones but the image I chose still stood out.

These comments were all the feedback I needed to craft my post.

This was the picture.

Again straight out of a comic book.

A picture can also be a hook but you have to write a great post too.

If anyone needs help with anything writing, branding or just wanna talk.

I’m doing consultation calls.

Reply to this email with “Venom” and let’s talk.

That’s all for today.

Tew dew lew :)
